Telephone numbers in Sri Lanka has changed to a 10 number system, in stages.

New telephone number can be searched in the following www.trc.goc.lk

Change in Telephone numbers with effect from 08th November 2003.

There is a further change in the numbers starting from 074 & 075 (Private telephone service providers).

If you need to dial a number starting from 074 or 075 after the 07th of November, please replace 074 with "4" and 075 with "5" and dial the number after the country code and the city code.
